This weblog is designed to enhance students’ knowledge of the U.S. government and political processes.  The first purpose of the weblog is to store, process, and organize important information related to the course.  It will be maintained and updated daily by the teacher with guidelines for assignments and a daily log of lessons. Serving as a collaborative tool, sections of the weblog foster intellectual dialogue on key themes from the course.  In particular, a focus on the presidential primaries and national election will involve ongoing discussion as this national event and media devoted to the election unfold during the school year.
